WHAT REBOOTER GROUP CAN DO FOR YOU

In today’s dynamic business environment, many organisations struggle with a lack of role clarity, leading to confusion, overlap in responsibilities, and decreased motivation. This can hinder team cohesion and productivity, creates unnecessary fricking, and potentially driving talented individuals to leave their jobs.

Applied Improvisation (AIM), through Rebooter Group’s Human Intelligence Programs provides a solution to this challenge by creating a clearer, more dynamic team culture where roles are actively explored and understood. AIM principles enhance a listening, accepting, and building work environment, crucial for effective communication about roles. The emphasis on adaptability and flexibility, essential skills in AIM, enable employees to adjust to changing business needs. AIM also trains individuals in the power of ‘being obvious’. This lack of stating the obvious thing is a major contributor to the lack of role clarity.

This AIM approach cultivates a dynamic, solution-focused workforce, adept at innovative problem-solving and critical in navigating economic conditions and technological advancements like artificial intelligence. Moreover, AIM’s safe space for giving and receiving feedback encourages honest conversations about roles and expectations.

Embracing these principles through Rebooter Group’s Human Intelligence Programs ensures teams are cohesive, adaptable, innovative, and resilient, fully equipped to face challenges and seize growth opportunities in the modern business landscape.

I theorize that improv enhances positive, workplace relationships by linking the Improv principles of being present, co-creation, and heightening offers to constructs of interpersonal mindfulness, perspective taking, and active constructive responding. This paper culminates with recommendations to culturally embed improv into regular work activities and suggestions for further research.
