🗂️ EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT | WORKPLACE CULTURE

LET'S CHAT

MAIN OUTCOMES

Higher quality work is done with fewer errors.

Less presenteeism.

Teams become more dynamic and motivated with less turnover because people want to be there with others.

p

4.5 HOURS IN TOTAL • MAXIMUM 3 SESSIONS • 10-30 PARTICIPANTS • IN PERSON OR VIRTUAL

UNIVERSAL PROBLEM:

Do your people care about being at work?

As seen in: ‘Quiet Quitting’; presenteeism; poor team communication

ISSUES: Many staff see their job as mostly just a paycheck. They work to live. Even if your culture is brilliant, at least one person per team drags their feet. A blocking ‘no’ can diminish up to 90% of the team progress, and slowly build defences in staff.

SOLUTIONS: Through using LAB, teams become tighter, and when staff see repeatedly demostrated authentic offers by management to meet their needs, they reciprocate and go above and beyond more. And self-interest starts taking more of a back seat in most program participants.

LENGTH OF TIME FOR CHANGE TO START OCCURRING: min. 3 months.

REBOOTR PACKAGES: NeuroPlay + Maintenance.

The result will be observed in a 15-25% increase in team communication, and a 10-16% increase in compliments from customers.

WHY IMPROVISATION ⛌ TEAM ENGAGE AT WORK IS KEY

When your team is genuinely invested in their workplace and mindful of their impact on others, you’re looking at a high-performing group of professionals.

In a typical work environment, there’s a tacit agreement: employees show up, perform their duties, and receive compensation. This traditional model fosters a mindset of ‘inside-the-box’ thinking, where going beyond the basics is often not expected. In such settings, if management suddenly seeks more innovation or extra effort, employees might feel unenthusiastic or even consider seeking new opportunities, particularly in the post-Covid era where work-life balance has become a priority.

However, a shift in culture towards valuing the workplace can transform this dynamic. When teams are engaged, the principles of applied improvisation, acceptance, respect, and trust start to shape interactions. Work then becomes a place not just of obligation, but of opportunity and collaboration. This positive environment encourages staff to invest more creativity and effort into their roles, often leading to the development of innovative products or more effective work methods.

In such an energized atmosphere, the concept of in-person office attendance evolves. It’s no longer seen as a mere requirement but as an opportunity to engage, collaborate, and contribute to a thriving workplace culture.

WHAT YOU LEARN

THIS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE PARTICIPANTS WITH THE SKILL-SET TO:

  • pick up the individual components of LAB: active listening, active accepting and building on whatever whoever is opposite them said.
  • embody the Trust Equation by reducing their amount of self-interest.
  • give and receive offers well.
  • make their colleagues or buyers look good.
  • use "yes, and" well in all relevant situations.

And more. All in a positive and psychological safe environment.

HOW IT WORKS:

Participants will take part in over a dozen fun activities, each designed to enhance the  Human Intelligence of your participants. These activities target the typical human communication obstacles encountered by design and product teams. All together, we’ll identify and dismantle the root causes of poor communication and collaboration. This collaborative effort will steer teams towards a more efficient and productive work dynamic, enabling them to perform at their peak. All while having fun.

Csikszentmihayli (1990) recommends that one way to create an optimal flow state is through others, as it develops compassionate understanding and caring for a partner with the intention to assist them in fulfilling their goals.
Moreover, the relatedness generated by engaging in flow with others can enhance relationships, boost emotions, and intensify motivation to continue pursuing goals (Ryan et al., 2008). The sense of enhanced self-efficacy that originates from flow states may even extend to the efficacy of the group (Csikszentmihalyi, 1990).
